Spiced Pear Punch

Ingredients (12 Drinks)

  • 12 oz Lodestar Whiskey

  • 12 oz Spiced Pear Liqueur (like St. George)

  • 9 oz Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice

  • 9 oz Spiced Simple Syrup

  • 6 oz Dry Curacao or Triple Sec

  • 12 oz Chilled Champagne or Sparking White Wine

  • Orange Wheels (for garnish)

  • Lemon Wheels (for garnish)

Instructions

Pour all ingredients into a punch bowl or drink dispenser and stir. Add lemon and orange slices. Serve in your choice of cocktail glass with ice. For those who prefer a slightly less sweet cocktail, top the glass off with more champagne or sparking white wine.

Spiced Simple Syrup Instructions

Add 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 a cup of water along with 3 cinnamon sticks, 2 star anise pods, and a 2 inch piece of fresh ginger (sliced) to a small pot and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer, cover the pot and let cook gently for 20 mins. Then, take the pot off the stove and let syrup come to room temperature before chilling.
